I am hoping to have some goals this year and get things done......

I am going to take time for me.

Hope to accomplish more sewing.

Get more organized.

Lose 10 pounds.

Learn something new.

Save money.....

Camp a few more times.

So many of our friends have had heartache this year. I am hoping for a better year for them.

Teach our children more about Heros.

Have a nice garden.

Visit with out of town family.

Be less dependent on my phone.

Worry less.

Relax more.

Hmmmm I think that will do for know. I hope everyone who reads this has a Blessed New Year!

Christmas was great this year!
We decided on a few Family gifts like Wii games, Board games, cards and stuff like that. We also decided to ask Santa for a Ping Pong table which actually ended up in a 3 in 1 table. I was a little worried when it was set up because I kept thinking about the way it would look as you first walk into our house. I finally stopped worrying when I saw how happy our kids are about it! So that one room in our house that we NEVER use is Officially a GAME ROOM! I am loving the room and so are the kids. We still have a few things to do but it will all go together soon.

So patiently waiting for Santa!

Our New Game Room...I love it!

It has taken us almost 6 years to figure out what to do with this room.
I forgot to add that the table flips over to become Air Hockey and then you can convert to Ping Pong.

We went to see Santa today...I get so excited even as an adult to see Santa. I don't think I will ever let that go away and I plan to have Santa bring gifts to my children every year no matter how old they get.

The look on a child's face when they are excited to see Santa is just BEAUTIFUL! I love it!

Nick loves Santa and just couldn't wait to tell him what he wants. He must have told us 30 times on the way.

I took Lindsey with us last year as well and she was excited up until the part to see him. I knew this year would be the same but I still wanted to take her just in case. I didn't push it at all but I figured when it was our time I would offer it to her. I could tell she really wanted to talk to him but just was not ready. So suddenly she walked up and in her sweet little voice as fast as she could said "you are bringing me a barbie bike" It was so cute but he said "Lindsey, I can't hear you?" I told her it is OK just go tell him. SO SHE DID! I got all teary eyed! I wanted to cry like a baby. It was a huge step for her. She was so excited and happy about it. I

Ashlynn loves Santa but still gets very upset when he is in person. She loves him from a distance.
I think it was so great that Santa heard me say the kids names and he would call them by their name.
I really love this time of year.

My main purpose for this blog is so our family and friends can keep up with our daily or weekly life. I love writing on here and showing everyone what we do and don't do. If you subscribe to the blog you will be updated when I do actually update this...just saying.

Well here it is almost Christmas and I have never been so ready. I love the magic that comes with this holiday. The lights, decorations, food and just all of it. I am ready for Santa to visit and see the kids eyes get huge. I love being able to provide everything they "want".

Nick had his Supper with Santa event at school and normally we do not go to this because at our "home" school it has always been so crowded you wait for your food for about an hour. Well at this new school he was singing and it just seems to be way more organized.

It was such a cute thing to watch him sing. As you can tell he is way taller than his classmates. He is the same age and actually younger than some. AMAZING! His is now 4ft 2 inches.
He is so tall.

Well I actually got on the computer to look for a sewing project so I have to leave now. Hope you are having a great weekend.

Every year our High School Cheerleaders have a Christmas party at someones house. This year we wanted to have it at our house and I was determined to have tables so that each girl could actually sit down and eat. In the past they all had to sit on the floor or stand. Well I managed to get 6 tables in our living room and kitchen. I wish I would have taken a picture of the tree overflowing with all the gifts or the massive amount of food they had. This was such a great party and I must say the easiest party ever.

The best part of all....The kids had a great time! I was almost a little worried that we would have a huge mess at the end of the night but it was so clean we really didn't even have to sweep the floors. I was amazed at how many people we had,how clean they all are and how loud this many girls can get!

I love that we were able to do this.

I can not believe he is already 5. What a fun age! He loves his Mommy but really loves Daddy. He is growing so fast it is unreal.
I LOVE having a son.
Wow Thanksgiving came and went so fast! I cooked my first turkey and it was YUMMY. Normally we vote on what we want but this year we decided to have a traditional dinner.

The girls cooked the sides the night before, thank god!

The entire dinner turned out so well but when I went to make my grandmas gravy I suddenly realized...I didn't get the giblets out! I did however get out the neck but I never looked in the bag. I just thought it was all in there.

I wanted my Grandmother to have a nice Thanksgiving and it was WONDERFUL!
