Nat has been playing Volleyball and we just LOVE watching her. She is such a serious player. I have the toughest time getting pictures of her because it is so dark in the gym and the girls are so fast. So far she has been happy with her decision of focusing on sports. We LOVE watching her play!

Remember the Mommy I took pictures of? The one who had twins? Well I got to keep them the other day and I was super excited!!

Let me start off by saying Families with Multiples are very special people. You have no idea all that they go thru until you have twin babies for a few hours.
They are such good babies! Very laid back and very content with whatever they are doing. I was nervous because after a few hours they had not cried and I just knew at any moment it was gonna happen. NOPE! But they do want to eat at the same time! Yes 2 babies not holding bottles yet want to eat at the same time. If you know me well you know that I don't prop baby bottles....I feel very guilty about it and love to hold the baby when they are eating. WHAT WAS I TO DO?? OK I had to ask Ashlynn to go get me 2 pillows. YEA RIGHT she wasn't going to do it. I look at the babies, look at her, look back at them. I can't leave them with her so without thinking I grab one baby. Then I sit and think OH MY GOD how the HECK do you pick up the other one? So I just put him back down grabbed Ashlynn and ran up!
So we survived that...I laid both babies on a pillow I sat in the middle and held each bottle.
Then you have 2 carseats. HOLY COW I had a hard time carrying my child in a carseat...Mom walked up the drive with 2 car seats and babies strapped in!
I guess when your first babies are multiple it is kinda all you know....but being a parent with singles....I am gonna say it again FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLES ARE SPECIAL!

The Boys are a little over 4mths now and GOSH DARN IT THESE BOYS ARE AMAZING! I am just so excited that not only are they twins they are so healthy and developing so good. I guess in my mind I think about twins being early and a little delayed in milestones. Not these boys! They love to smile, grab toys, babble and look at everything.

Oh and if you are wondering if one cries the other must cry too......NOPE! If one cries the other stares at him. I can't help but wonder what is going thru their mind either because they look so interested in each other.
Nick had his first Soccer game this weekend. I absolutely forgot how exciting it is to watch little ones play soccer. We really thought he was gonna get out there and be wimpy and stand around. WRONG! He got after the ball and you really would have thought he had played before! This was so much more fun than Baseball! The entire hour of the game was exciting and non stop!

Before his game...he was nervous and wouldn't stop twisting his shorts.

Yes he is the tallest kid...again!

He ran for an entire hour and smiled the whole time!

Yesterday we had such pretty weather. I had some sewing to do and the boys laid across the back patio and played checkers. I love moments like this. I feel like little times like this Nick will appreciate when he gets older. He will look back and remember daddy playing checkers. So often it is so much easier to lay around in front of a t.v or video game but this to me is way more important. I hope one day our kids all grow up with lots of Happy remember whens....
