I am so sorry to my friends and family who read this. I have been so busy. I can't figure out why when all the kids are home in the summer it is so much easier to keep up with my blog.

OK This is the Reality check baby....She is a totally computerized very REALISTIC baby. Lauren is in a class that uses them. It smelled like a baby, felt like one and cried like one. At first it seemed way to easy so I decided she needed to pack up the stroller and head to the mall.
I was no way prepared for what would happen next. As she pushed the baby in the stroller I watched as people would try and peek in,stare, and give dirty looks. At one point when the baby was "crying" I watched women say to her face "how ridicules, did you see that girl with the baby?" I was getting so mad! This went on for about 2hrs and I just couldn't take it anymore. People were so rude to Lauren and her "baby". I even snapped at a lady who was rude to her.
We then left because I couldn't handle it and I could see Lauren getting upset.

I wondered what made people think it was her baby. How did they know it wasn't mine. Then I thought about how my parents must have felt to have a 16yr old pregnant child. I am sure they loved me anyways but how embarrassing.

I should add that not only was the baby life like you also had to support her neck. She has sensors that say how long she cried, why she cried and the teacher could control all the times it would happen. You had to feed her, rock and change her diapers. GREAT school project! I am all for that stuff.
On Sunday night Lauren was so ready to get rid of that baby. It woke her all night long.

Odds say that Lauren is at risk since she was born to a teenage mom but we will beat the odds! As a parent, you should talk to your teens about sex. Don’t sit back and think they will learn about it from their peers, as most are misinformed. As a parent it is your duty to educate your child, son or daughter, and help prevent teen pregnancy.

I will have a big celebration the day she turns 18! She will have beat the odds!

I think she is the reason I push my kids so hard. I want them all to succeed. I want them all to Graduate and go off to College and be successful and follow their dreams.
You could say I live through my children and I will agree with you. I push them to do the activities I was unable to do.

Educate your kids and don't be naive~!

I started babysitting when I was young. that was the best birth control ever. There was a reality TV show on last year that allowed some teenagers who wanted babies immediately to "borrow" someone elses kids as practice. I just wanted to reach through the TV and strangle those girls that were saying they wanted a baby and it was going to be so fun. They werent saying that by the end of the series though!
